Buffalo County, Wisconsin was mostly

Mondovi maintains five city parks. The Buffalo River runs nearby and there is a 28-mile marked canoe route that runs south to Alma, where the Buffalo feeds into the Mississippi River. Mondovi's mill pond is called Mirror Lake; fishing and boating are allowed.
