Lake Hallie is located in Chippewa county between the cities of Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. Residents of the Town of Hallie voted to form their new village, Lake Hallie, in 2003. Lake Hallie was formed in response to the growth of both Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. Lake Hallie's 5,000 or so residents use Chippewa Falls schools and mailing addresses.
