Eau Claire's West Riverside Neighborhood

As the name implies, Eau Claire's West Riverside Neighborhood runs along the west bank of the Chippewa river. Madison St forms the southern boundary, Garden St the northern boundary, and 7th St is the western boundary.
Generally speaking, as one moves further from the rivers, the houses tend to be newer. This is true from neighborhood to neighborhood and it is also true within most neighborhoods. Homes in the West Riverside neighborhood were generally constructed between the late 1800s and the mid 1900s.
Parks
Kessler Neighborhood Playground is located on the block of Maple and 2nd Streets. Kessler Park has playground equipment, a softball field, picnic tables and benches.
Schools
Eau Claire's Montessori Charter School is located in the West Riverside Neighborhood on Cameron St.
