Eau Claire's Historic Randall Park Neighborhood is surrounded by the Chippewa River and Half Moon Lake. The neighborhood is bordered to the north by Luther Hospital, Eau Claire's largest hospital. The Historic Randall Park Neighborhood is also home to Water Street, the central social gathering place for many thirsty students attending UW-Eau Claire. The Historic Randall Park Neighborhood is just across the bridge from most of the UWEC campus, and a few buildings of the growing campus are even located in the Randall Park Neighborhood itself.

The Historic Randall Park Neighborhood is popular among UWEC students because of its proximity to the UWEC campus and available rental homes. But there are also a fair number of owner-occupied homes as well. Homes in the neighborhood range in size from 2-bedroom bungalows to three-story Queen Annes.

Carson Park is a 130-acre park located along Half Moon Lake with amenities like football and baseball stadiums, 3 lighted tennis courts, 18 lighted horseshoe courts, 2 softball diamonds, and 3 museums. There are also four pavilions which can be reserved. The Eau Claire Cavaliers and the Eau Claire Express semipro baseball teams call Eau Claire's Carson Park home, as do numerous college and high school teams of many sports. Fishing and boating are permitted on Half Moon Lake, as long as your boat does not have a gasoline engine.

Owen Park is an 11-acre park located along the Chippewa River. It features new playground equipment and an outdoor amphitheater where Eau Claire's city band performs Thursday Evenings in the summer.

Randall Park itself is a small, expertly landscaped area in the heart of the neighborhood. Randall Park a playground, picnic tables, and benches.
