The Buffington neighborhood is located between Half Moon Lake and North Clairemont Avenue on Eau Claire's west side. Lakeview cemetery is located in this neighborhood.
Rod & Gun Park is a 12-acre park along the western bank of Half Moon Lake. Facilities include one picnic pavilion, a sand volleyball court, and extensively landscaped ponds and streams.
